It Fucken February

Hello everyone!

It is, indeed, February! The first of February to be precise. So you know what that means, right? It's the beginning of the month post!

In these beginning of the month posts I like to go over what I'm planning on releasing this month on here in terms of content. For you guys, it's like a heads up, for me it's kinda like... setting goals or something.

Before I get into things, I just want to say that I have changed the passwords for the two Dropbox folders. I sent everyone a private message out with the new ones! If you haven't got it, then please let me know and I'll make sure that it gets sent through to you!  

Alright! Time to get on with the post.

 Game stuff!

First of all - and just in case you missed it in the last post - apologies again that I had to update last month's game update by about a week. Getting sick delayed stuff and while I probably could have broken my back pushing to get it out that sorta mindset (grindset?) is what caused me to have a catastrophic burnout mid last year that has lead to me being so behind on things, so... I figured I'd do myself and everyone else a favor and focus on getting better.

After looking over things and doing my schedule for the month this morning, I can say fairly confidently though that the Aimee Mode preview build will be ready by February 9th. As in, that's the day that I'll be posting it!

I think that Aimee Mode is something worth getting pretty excited about! Or at least, I'm pretty excited about it. There's a bunch of scenes that involve micros getting ruined, there's a bunch of story content and character interactions, there's a few endings and paths and possibilities, you get to see the college and it's denizens from a whole new perspective... it's cool!

For the rest of the month I'll be focusing on the rest of the stuff that isn't Aimee Mode, which means finishing up the gym content. There are quite a few scenes left to write there - including some bonus poll scenes that I haven't forgotten, promise - as well as some tidying up that needs to be done. All of that won't be finished this month, but I'll be posting another preview build at the end of the month - or, the 28th of February - that will add a bunch of new scenes to the game for everyone to enjoy.

The too long didn't read here is that there'll be two preview builds being posted this month - one on the 9th and the other on the 28th. Hooray! Hopefully this will make up for a delay a bit. I say it all the time, but thank you all once again for your continued patience. I promise it will pay off!

QUICK EDIT (Feb 8th): Hi! Future me here... or... present me interrupting past me? Or slightly more in the past me? Uh, anyway! Everything is on track, but I'm probably going to be launching it quite late on the 9th, so don't expect to be playing it first thing in the morning or anything!

Since I am making a pretty huge push on A Tiny Furry In A Huge World this month, I won't be posting as many stories as I did last month... which means that instead of posting three stories, I'll be posting two!

What will these stories be? Well, one of 'em is gonna be the polled story from last month! Technically Kyobi won it, but since Safi'jiva came really close I'm going to do a story featuring both of them: like a kitsune with a hot and haughty pet dragon sorta deal, y'know? I was working on the rough draft for it this morning and I think it'll be pretty fun! I'll have it up around the end of the month... ish... probably. Maybe earlier, I dunno!

As for the other story? Not sure what it'll be yet since I have a couple of them ready to post, but it'll be something! Uh... next section!

Poll time! Yes, there will be one this month. It will be game-related, and it'll also come with an announcement. What kind of announcement? A cool one! A pretty exciting one. But if I said anything more it wouldn't really be an announcement because I would have already announced it here, so...

... yeah! Poll. Announcement. Stuff. It'll be cool! Or at least, I hope it will!

I think I will also do another story poll this month, because why not? I think I might make them a regular thing even, because hey, it's fun! I enjoy writing the content and you probably enjoy reading it, right?

After being sick for a few days last month I am now doing good. I'm a tiny bit congested like you usually are about a week after having the flu and I got a nasty little cough, but that aside I'm no longer running an insane fever or constantly aching in various random places. This time, for some reason, it was my hips that were consistently in pain. Why? I dunno, but it made moving around and doing ANYTHING an absolute pain in the ass (literally) for about a week. Needless to say, I'm glad that it's over.

Speaking of it being over, this post is done too! Back to work for me on the many things that I have to do. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and I'll see you in a few days with the first game update in a while!
