Holly Jolly! :D Eleven must be protected at all cost, she's gone through so much and the way she explores the Wheelers' house is so heartbreaking, specially considering her flashbacks with Dr. Brenner, it's just such unfair and inhumane treatment towards her... she deserves SO much better, a proper childhood experience. Poor kitty btw, Eleven's pain right there... gosh. In regards to Steve breaking Jonathan's camera... maybe it's just me, but I think it's totally fair from his point of view, I don't think it's a dick move necessarily. Did he act a bit douchey here? I mean, Jonathan took pictures of his girlfriend half-naked... Nancy is a teenager (all of them are in this scene) and that could literally count as child p**nography material, it's immoral and illegal pictures right there. Yes, the camera is very precious to Jonathan clearly and he had completely different intentions (although taking pictures of someone else's house like that is just straight up weird as hell, that's voyeurism not research), but if I didn't know who this dude was and was taking pictures of my girlfriend/boyfriend like that... yeah, breaking his camera is pretty much mercy to me, it's a light punishment if anything, it's not unreasonable imo. I may have done the same thing towards Jonathan if I'm being completely honest. The whole situation does make Jonathan look super creepy, but of course we sympathize with him since we see him trying to find out what happened with Will and taking care of his mom and all, he does have a ton of burden in his mind. Also, I genuinely don't think Steve was doing this out of pleasure or just bullying for the sake of it. He's not only protective of Nancy of course, but there's this really subtle and quick sad look in his eyes shortly after he breaks the camera, just before he says "come on, let's go, the game's about to start". I don't think he enjoyed breaking his camera, there's a bit of regret but he felt like he had to out of human decency. I've always found Steve to be very interesting right from the start, and Joe Keery does a tremendous job portraying someone like Steve. That look right there from Steve... I think it's super important for something key that happens later! Joyce with the lights in this episode and creating the oiuja board is ICONIC, the Christmas lights add to this very creative and poignant visual of a mom trying to connect with her son, the cinematography in general with the use of lights in this episode is IMPECCABLE. The ending of this episode is SO well executed. The music is on point, everyone's acting is great (really like Finn Wolfhard in this scene confronting Eleven), one of my favorite endings to an episode in this show for sure! Can't wait for the rest!

Yeah, uh, Idk how to say this, but I'm gonna try. And again, it's Will, not Mike. But I know who you're talking so it's fine. Ell didn't lie to Mike. Will is hiding, somewhere. Something shady is going on behind the scenes. The next episode is called "The Body" for a, reason👀. It's fucked up! 59:52. Yeah. Gotta own it, when it's a stress factor.
