The israeli goverment are selfish people who pass dumb laws that the only people who benefit from them are the majority of their voters and themselves. They dont care about the people that they're supposed to lead and they're fine with letting the whole country die as long as they get what they want. Then theres hamas who is the leading terrorist organization in gaza who took over years ago. They kill their people steal their food and use schools and children hospitals as shields instead of putting the money that israel for an unknown reason keeps giving it to them directly instead of giving it to the people which is stupid. Hamas used and still using the money to build tunnel systems everywhere and buy weapons and fancy stuff for themselves like expensive watches and clothes. The war didnt need to last over 2 years the goverment cared more about pleasing their voters and showing that they're strong by distracting them from the problems within the country instead of trying to free the hostages. They could have been home alive if the goverment cared. They only saved the hostages after america told them that they're done with the prime minister's bullshit and talked about getting them home. When living hostages came home the goverment was trying to use it as a way to get more voters (forgot the word). Hamas invaded killed,raped and kidnapped people from their beds they burned down houses killed nearly 2000 people in one day and they're proud of it And of course the israeli goverment is still trying to blame the idf and the leftists on what happend even though people warned them soldiers warned them that something is going on across the border. The people in both countries are being put to blame on something that is not their fault. Yes there are people in both countries who are pieces of shit who just want violence. Nowhere in the world there's a country that everyone there are good. I want both israel and gaza to live in peace and co exist. I want the world to try and help rebuild gaza and overthrow hamas so that they could be happy. Gaza could be a beautiful country but the people who make the world turn are selfish jerks who only care about themself. Many goverments arpund the world use the conflict to distract the people from their own corruption, spain for example Sorry about this i got carried away

But in order for that to happen, a lot of them do start as very fundamentally flawed people. Try not to pass too much judgment by their first appearances; the biggest joy of this show IMO is watching them change and grow. (Also, just a sidenote, as an American Jew, I don't support what's happening in Palestine either. I have friends who live in Israel, and they also think it is horrible and wrong. Most ordinary people do. Unfortunately, very similarly to America right now, the country and military are being run by a power-hungry, racist, psychopathic war criminal and his cronies.)

Stranger Things was THE obsession of mine back in 2016, 2017, rewatching the first seasons over and over and over again and it's just such a wild ride I'm legit super looking forward to watching you experience the whole thing! First of all, I LOVE Winona Ryder in this role and as a Beetlejuice fan, I just appreciate her performance more and more everytime I rewatch this show: her body language, line delivery, and her eyes speak so damn much. I love that you pointed out Jonathan's role in this family and the huge pressure that comes with it. With that said... I can't blame you for being frustrated with these dysfunctional family dynamics already, that's a HUGE theme in this show after all. It gets me so emotional everytime. Yessss Dustin love! He's really one of my very favs in this show, he's SO SMART and the kids dynamic is just such a ride to watch, and now that they've met Eleven... well, I can't wait for more! Benny and Eleven's little dynamic is so precious that yeah, I also felt robbed when Benny was killed off like that. So wholesome and kind, honestly. He's played by Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby in This Is Us, and he's SUCH a good actor. Just wanted to mention that since I'm first time watching that show This Is Us with a friend of mine and it's quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites hehe so it's so cool to see him all the way back to the first season of Stranger Things! And last but not least, oh Steve, my dear Steve Harrington... Steve just hits different. You know me Morgy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE some good ass character development in my favorite characters :D That's the appeal and I agree with many of the comments here. And the actor who plays him, Joe Keery... PERFECT choice and I'll get to why later! There's a reason he's a huge, HUGE fan favorite. And omg there's one line in that scene of them "studying" that just hits different, I love it so much. This is such a fantastic first ep, and it's just so crazy to see where it all began after finishing the show a few weeks ago. Can't wait for the next ones!
