This episode is definitely frustrating and Cassandra's decisions are so difficult to cope with while still being aware of the issues she has combined with being manipulated by Zantiri (i probably spelled that wrong) Also, now that you've heard nothing left to lose, I have to make the comment that it seems like there is a chance that we could get Eden Espinoza as Lillith in Hazbin. Which could mean another song equivalent to nothing left to lose with Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinoza. Also, have to say Varian was the absolute best in this episode. And I will always enjoy the cute little moments between Eugene and Rapunzel. So excited to see you react to the rest of the show!

They did say they loved the theory of the moonstone draining her though. Also, since the show never says I think its fine to state that Zhan Tiri is a women though she is a shape shifter through her magic so she can change her form to suit her needs.

They can't be quiet for even 30 minutes?? I have been excited for this episode because of the Cassandra and Varian duet. So much of Tangled is filler episodes, but the story episodes are so good. I didn't know a novel to the series came out. I will have to check it out.

She can actually change her age but she wanted to appear as a child to manipulate Cassandra to make her think she is just little girl and harmless. But she can appear as a grown woman or as that horned thing. Kind of like how Alastor has his normal sinner Overlord form and when he gets angry or wants to fight, he turns into that big voodoo kaiju looking thing. And yeah Cass was acting just like her mother. Even fell out of the tower too luckily she was able to catch herself. Oh and you're gonna want to remember that part where the moon stone cracked. It's gonna be major important later.

She wants to believe she's back Rapunzel back, but deep down, she knows she doesn't deserve it. She just has to send all the years of built up pain and anger somewhere. It's really sad to think about.

Something that I actually love to notice, that I think put some sweetness in this episode, is that notice how Cassandra, after putting Varian in the cage says “*NOW* I have nothing left to lose” implying the last thing she had to lose was Varian! 🥰🥰 that, and coupled with the fact that he’s the only one she says “I don’t want to hurt you” too. I just love it!

Sometimes people seem to forget that she’s spent her entire life being pushed aside and ignored, not even being allowed to be in the guard when so many more incompetent people were🙄 And that Rapunzel wasn’t the best friend towards her during season two. Like you said, if they had just listen to Cassandra about the house in the first place it never would’ve even happened! Plus, she’s being manipulated by a literal demon who’s got a serious hold on her brain. She actually does feel bad or question herself plenty of times, but every time she does, the demon pops right back up. It’s very easy to fall into that trap. Honestly, I am right up your alley with wanting to flick that demon into oblivion 😆
