As someone who's mom suffered from Staph-induced dementia towards the end of her life, I really sympathize with Essek and his struggles to cate for and try to save his mom. Turning to Trent for help was probably a bad idea, but I totally understand his desperation. It hurts.

2025-11-30 04:59:14 +0000 UTCThe friendship of Nott and Caleb was one of the things I liked more on the campaign. There is a particular scene with them that I'm dying to see animated... It should be on this season if they don't remove it (we lost some good amazing scenes on Vox Machina that I wanted to see :( ). Also Marion or the Ruby of the Sea, Jester's mom, is one of my favorites from the campaign. I adore her personality and the respect that Matthew Mercer employed with her. Usually courtesants or sex workers are very vilified on media but Mercer knew how to make the point with Marion: She's intelligent, elegant and she's so sweet and such a good mother. I love her.

2025-11-29 19:08:34 +0000 UTCI definitely love Caleb’s and Nott’s friendship, even though I never watched the campaigns it was beautiful to watch those two. I did learn a little bit about Nott. The reason why she’s so afraid of the water is because of what happened to her when she was a kid, the bullies in the town when she grew up, and they used to dunk her head in water and try and drown her. Little word of warning you’re gonna need this for next week. They got a Disney princess to voice a burlesque songstress! "The Ruby of the Sea", which is about Marion, was actually the outro song on an episode of Vox Machina.
