2025-11-08 04:10:33 +0000 UTCI think Alastor was projecting onto Vox because he had Rosie give him power and he viewed it as Vox trying to take some of that power from him by offering a partnership. As for Alastor's plan, I definitely think Charlie is protected under whatever rules Rosie has placed on him so she needed to be included for it to not conflict with the deal he already had with Rosie and it would automatically fulfill Rosie's rules since it was the Vees that kept making him have to work. I do think Alastor cares about Nifty on some level, but also he probably doesn't want the souls he owns to be taken out. They are useful and powerful allies to have. This episode did make me a Radiostatic fan, though. I am here for their tea.

It stated that deers tend to put their ears down when they are submissive but that's just my theories on why his ears are down during that entire scene so idk.

2025-11-07 10:58:49 +0000 UTCThat I will try to detail here. Firstly--Alastor's "oh that's clever" and the way he's going to break his deal with Rosie. From the end of Season One, it is clear that Alastor didn't intend to fulfill whatever deal he had. During his crashout segment of "the show must go on," he talked about a "back door" to his deal. With Rosie's song, he never actually capitulated and said he would complete her task. He just said he would do "it on his own." Whatever it was. Later he went to a statue of a Morningstar family and tried to find a way out of his deal, not by completing it, but by circumnavigating it. He literally called the solution he found "clever" and therefore I believe it's very obscure and has many steps. Cut to Alastor seemingly without reason picking a fight with Vox. The fight leads to a 3-on-1 until Niffty and Husk come in at which point Alastor challenges Vox to a 1-v-1 where Alastor is sure to win, but then Niffty gets in trouble and Alastor immediately calls the fight off. This is where I think Alastor's master plan comes in to play. He tells Vox he will be his poisoner as long as he doesn't "lay a hand" on Charlie, but anyone who is passingly familiar with Hazbin Hotel knows that Vox, as a Media Overlord, could destroy Charlie without even being in the same zip-code as her. So Alastor stipulating that isn't to protect Charlie, but to give him an Out, later. Anyway, the rest of episode four is spent dedicating how much Vox is obsessed with Alastor, so I think Alastor is going to use that to turn Vox against HIS COMRADES UNDER THE GUISE THAT VOX WOULD BE STRONGEST ON HIS OWN, and technically Alastor would be correct because he needs Vox to be stronger than him so that Alastor's deal with Rosie get broken, because he will no longer be the strongest Sinner in Hell. At Which point, he will likely call on his favor to Charlie to do like a dance number or something with Vox, which will officially end Alastor's deal with Vox, since Vox technically "laid his hands on Charlie" then. And now Alastor has all the power and none of the leashes, which sets him up to be the villain of season three, and Vox, who is technically now stronger than him, but alone because Alastor convinced him to separate himself from the other V's (via death or any other way) can't face up to him because he still has Niffty and Husk under his belt. Meanwhile, Rosie is def not who she claims to be, because if any Overlord could make anyone the "strongest sinner in hell" for the price of a soul, than that's the only deal people would make. Therefore, the only reason Rosie could make Alastor the strongest Sinner is because she has equal or greater power than that, which makes Rosie either Real Lilith or ROO, (Root of all Evil.). And both of them are related to Lucifer, which is why Alastor hated him on site. Vox pointedly asked Charlie if he and/or Angel could be redeemed for what they'd done, so I think season three will be an exploration of whether Alastor could be redeemed for who he is, or if there's a limit on redemption.

I'm almost certain this ties into the plan he came up with to complete his deal with Rosie, which must involve Charlie in some way. What that could be, I have no idea, but he's definitely playing some sort of gambit. My best guess is it's to bait Charlie and/or Vox somehow.

Originally I didn't even think it was the eye of any of the cast we'd seen, I expected it to be someone random or someone we hadn't met yet.

If he’s powerLESS to escape Vox, it’s a loophole. I have no clue if it would work though. As for his deal with Vox- he specifically said Vox could not lay his hands on Charlie Morningstar. I’d be willing to bet he was throwing his fate to a gamble on Charlie coming after him and by taking Vox out of the fight it gives her a better chance at winning a fight. Little does he know I think it won’t be Charlie to come after him, but Lucifer. We got the shot in the trailer of Lucifer burning Vee Tower, it’s possible that Charlie found out that Alastor quit because of Lucifer and they make Lucifer go get him just like how they sent Husk after Angel.

Plus, a lot of people are asking how she can be that powerful and Viv said that the answers will be revealed next season so I’m really scared. Also, if I remember right a while back the person who plays Mimzy, posted it on their Facebook that they were doing the lines for season three so maybe she’ll have some insight about Alastor’s past. But I’m more worried about next week’s episode especially episode five Viv said that one was jampacked with action. And if I remember right, those who got to attend the New York Broadway production they said that Christian and Jeremy got to perform a duet with each other. Meaning we’re gonna get a Vox and Lucifer fight duet!

I do think it's possible that he genuinely likes/liked people like Mimzy, Nifty, Husk, and possibly even Charlie and Vox. But it seems to me that his desire for power and self-determination supersedes his ability to care about people. I think that's why he was so mean to Vox in the flashback. Alistair's greatest fear is to appear weak. If he thinks relying on others shows weakness then it is 100% projection. Likely I think he was afraid of someone getting too close and finding out about his weakness (Rosie) and so deliberately pushed Vox away. OR he was so insecure about the idea of needing someone that he pushed Vox away. He also may have been trying to "teach" Vox a "lesson" in the same way he was trying to "teach" Charlie during the Hello Rosie episode in season 1 when he mocked her for hiding in her room.

He was way too cute for a cult leader😅 Really, I don't even like Vox but he was so adorable in that flashback for real😂 I think Rosie wants to get to heaven for some reason and Alastor is supposed to make sure that happens. That's why he works for the Hotel and makes that deal about Charlie - to make sure she succeeds and open a way to heaven. I've spent so much time trying to figure Alastor out and I'm still failing😂

One of his conditions was he wanted a side piece in Heaven on call. So she did a body swap with actual Rosie. Alastor's actual task is to get Charlie into Heaven. Maybe the favor Alastor will ask of Charlie is for her to choose to go to Heaven and leave her friends.... Just random wild thoughts.

Power seems to be the only thing he cares about, being on top and staying on top. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I'm curious to hear differing opinions

He always planned to be captured by Vox, as now that Vox "owns" him, he's no longer the most powerful sinner. That could very well make Alastor and Rosie's deal null and void, or it could force Rosie to give Alastor more power to defeat Vox.

WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS LILITH AND IT WAS ROSIE?! and second I think the reason why Alastor made “you can’t harm Charlie” as part of his deal with Vox is because Charlie still owes him that favor from the deal he and Charlie made back in season 1 episode 7. And that favor is probably a major part of Alastor’s grand plan.
