It's hard to do surprises when you have millions of people running their eyes over it. They had the bright idea to leave multiple plot elements from this season unanswered until the next season -_-. Who are the Silence? Who built a Tardis in Craig's house? Why did the Doctor's Tardis explode in the first place? This whole season has just been a reaction to that explosion.

Or you could ask someone who alredy knows the show to write/record you a recap becaus they probably know better the important stuff you shouldn't forget

You know he doesn't have the coat on, but he suddenly gets it back during that one scene. It's a continuity error, they messed up when filming, you think that must be it. But no, it's not. It's completely intentional because it's this.

2025-08-02 21:09:03 +0000 UTCThe wedding saying is a real thing (with a DW twist on it) - And it shows Moffat's greatness as a writer that he was able to weave it in so seemlessly - and it goes: Something ancient (the police box - by 2000s standards IS old), something new (its a time machine), something borrowed (he borrowed it from Gallifrey before the Classic series), something blue (obvious enough) that the bride recieves as gifts at her wedding.

2025-08-02 18:03:46 +0000 UTCThe Christmas special is very Christmassy so even if u aren't ready to start the next season by the time Dec roles around watching the special wouldn't be a bad idea. Regular doctor who airing usually has a gap between Xmas special and new season anyway so it's in keeping with tradition
