THIS IS THE MOST STRESSED OUT I'VE EVER BEEN IN DUCKTALES!

"The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck!"~Ducktales S1 Ep21 FULL Reaction

This episode is always so horrifying with Lena's storyline. She goes through so much here. The nightmare is always so shocking to watch. And the ending of her wanting to finally tell scrooge the truth and ask for help.... ugh. It breaks my heart. So excited for the next episodes.

Fun fact, the voice actress for magica plays a character on dr. Who with Tennant. And tenderfoot is voiced by the same guy who voices scanlan from vox machina

Episodes featuring this dynamic duo are always peak. But if any doubt remained that Lena was playing a con, this should clear it up. Her worst nightmare: Betraying and destroying her friend. She's a good kid. Webby's best friend, her "beautiful idiot", her "snoring angel". If you weren't aware, the doll is modeled after Webby's '87 design.

Yeah Morgan. For a Ducktales episode, that was pretty dark. What is it with Disney having characters being possessed by the really evil villains? Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Owl House and Ducktales. Do the animators need more help than we thought. πŸ˜…πŸ˜±πŸ’œ

The whiplash I experienced from "Yay Morgan uploaded a new Ducktales video" to "Oh it's THAT episode 😈" You're gonna have a jolly swell time with the next three hehe

Between the dreamcatcher and the ending, the writers really took the gloves off here. You also made me realize I don't think I've seen all three seasons of this all the way through, so I'm looking forward to you getting to them and reacting :)

Trust me, no one is prepared for how dark the nightmare sequence with Lena is when they watch this episode for the first time.

My sweet summer child, if that episode was tough you are so not ready for the next episode and the finale - all im saying is keep the tissues ready! Cant wait for your reaction!

"Clever girl" is a reference to the first Jurassic Park movie.

As always, loved your reaction to this episode. Every episode where I know we got, Lena, Webby, and Scrooge, I just know, "Morgan's gonna love this. And possibly be either traumatized or angry at some point in this episode." The trauma and anger don't have to be linked to either of those three characters. Anyways, I can't wait to see your reaction to the season finale, at long last😁

Every time I watch this episode, I get thrown off by the bizarre choice to pair this goofy Bigfoot B-plot with the deadly serious Lena/Magica A plot. Scrooge's birth date has always been 1867. When the character was first introduced and developed in the comics in the 1940s-50s, it was entirely plausible for him to have been born in 1867, moved to the US during the late 19th-century immigration boom, and initially struck it rich in the Klondike Gold Rush in the 1890s, making him around his 70s or 80s by the time the comics were being published- old, but normal old. The later comics avoided issues with his age by sticking with the 1950s setting regardless of when they were published, and the original Ducktales just didn't address the issue, but 2017 Ducktales decided to double down on it and make him officially 150 years old. The doll Webby gets turned into, which is also the doll she has pinned to the wall in her room by an arrow, is what she looked like in the original show. I love that they actually have Kimiko Glenn voice possessed Lena. It's always fun to see an actor play another character's mannerisms while still using the same voice, and it's rare to see media (especially stuff aimed at children) where they actually let them do that instead of assuming the audience are idiots and need a constant reminder that the character isn't who they appear to be.
