So they wouldn't know the what was done specifically just that a miracle had been preformed. Hence why Azi and Crowley were able to do miracles for each other through out the years . So all they know is a very powerful miracle was done not that it was a "hiding someone "miracle. But they would want to know why a powerful miracle would be done , especially with Gabriel missing.

Nobody upstairs or downstairs is going to care if they change their clothes or switches the street lights from red to green. But if they actively are looking for Gabriel and they do a "hiding someone" miracle, then they will notice. From what we gather this is how their powers work. All demons and angels pretty much have reality-altering powers, there is no set limit for what they can or can't do, just rules about what they are allowed to do. They can mend a person's arm, sure, nobody will care, but if Aziraphale tried to bring someone back from the brink of death or I don't know... destroy a building, he would probably be yanked up into heaven straight away.

Can't wait for the rest of season 2!

2024-04-09 20:38:05 +0000 UTCi think season 2 is actually set around 4 years later too (patreons correct me if i'm wrong) because maggie mentions the lockdowns when speaking to aziraphale meaning covid canonically happened. there's also a youtube video called 'Good Omens: Lockdown' showing a phone conversation between crowley and aziraphale during lockdown, just a cute additional video to feed to fandom 🥰

2024-04-09 14:22:23 +0000 UTCBe veeeery careful with the fanfics in case of spoilers! Sometimes they put them in the tags or even in the author notes even if the fic is set in season 1! And since you want to watch more, it would probably be a good idea to watch and record the season as fast as you are comfortable with so you’re up to date with the newer fanfiction and you’re safe from spoilers. I got accidentally spoiled with plotlines every episode during the release because i forgot that i couldn’t continue my fanfic reading without them discussing things in the author notes or comments. And you could film at your pace and still keep the release scheduel if you want so you’ll just be ahead of it

2024-04-09 13:33:05 +0000 UTCnot so fun fact, if you look VERY closely at the end of the first scene with crowley and aziraphale as angels, crowley's wings have tinted significantly grayer than aziraphale's after he starts asking questions. it's easiest to notice in the very last shot when he covers aziraphale with his wing. love the video as always, can't wait for more!!!
