2024-04-10 01:06:07 +0000 UTCI use my phone as a reflective surface to time up the screen recording and the camera footage. Highly recommend having something like that to sync everything up as it saves so much time. I use OBS to capture my screen and Final Cut Pro to edit. Hope this helps!

I'm always on the hunt for queer media whether animated or live action, so I'm glad you decided to give GO a chance despite not usually doing reactions to live action shows (and shows with longer episode runtimes)! Good Omens is really a special show for a lot of us in the queer community :) I also think you're going to enjoy season 2 a LOT more than season 1 - I think a lot of us can agree that when we do rewatches of S1, we typically skip to all the Aziracrow moments rather than actually rewatching the whole thing (at least that's what I do lmao). Thankfully S2 is much more focused on them, and it's a lot more queer in general!

There are no spoilers for future seasons and it's a genfic but still focuses on the love between Aziraphale and Crowley; there's also a beautiful meditation on God's history with and feelings about Crowley, and a really awesome plotline building in the present day timeline that I don't want to give details on in case I spoil it. When they pan out at the end, during the song, if you look in the background behind the two of them, the wing of the white piano behind them is extended out over Crowley in an echo of the way Aziraphale's wing covered Crowley back on the wall of Eden.

2024-04-03 02:12:11 +0000 UTCMy favorite thing about Aziraphale and Crowley is that they contradict so much of what the angel and demon stereotypes tell us they should be. Crowley is the demon but is as close to a pacifist as he can be. In all cases he'll try to talk his way out of trouble and the one time he killed he made it into a trap where no one would get hurt if they didn't come into the room to hurt him. In the book he doesn't even hurt his plants, he just miracles them into their natural habitat and turns on a wood chipper so the other plants THINK he killed them. Aziraphale, on the other hand, will happily arrange your death out of pure pettiness for interrupting his attempt to eat good French crepes lol

2024-04-02 19:51:45 +0000 UTCI remember that when I watched the series, the plots of other characters weren't for me, I started it for Aziraphale and Crowley, but when was reading the book I liked them much more than in the series, in particular I managed to like Adam in the book + the horsemen of the Apocalypse are more developed and somehow I feel like I laughed more while reading it. After all, it's a comedy, right? And although the book will remain in my heart anyway, when it comes to the series, I enjoyed watching the second season more than the first one, so I hope that you will watch it too in the near future. I will also add that there will be a 3rd season! Season 2 has nothing to do with the book and Neil Gaiman came up with the idea for this season to be a story link between season 3 and season 1, and season 3 was born from the idea of Neil and Terry Pratchett plans for a sequel to the book, which unfortunately was never written due to Terry's death β€οΈ and what is really amazing, Neil dedicated script book for Terry. And if you would like to see more great fantasy life action with similar moral themes, I recommend The Sandman (Netflix). It's also a series based on the works of Neil Gaiman! I fucking love his works, series, movies, books! So I highly recommend it.

Also, fun little tidbit: when they get on the bus, you can see Aziraphale reach down briefly. It's been confirmed by both Neil and David (Crowley) that they held hands on the bus. :)
