Omg… this update 🥲🥲🥲 I completely miscalculated again how long it would take. These were probably the most time-consuming pages in Volume 7 so far?! Especially the second-to-last one! Yeah, sure, I pull my backgrounds from the “magic box,” but that’s only the base! xD If there’s a lot going on, every single object in the foreground has to be adjusted and redrawn a bit, otherwise it just looks weird next to the characters. 💀 I really hate it when 3D backgrounds look like 3D, so I’ll do ANYTHING to avoid that — which, of course, takes a lot of extra time. X,D

So thank you for being so patient and supporting me the way you do! TuT ❤️ I honestly can’t say it enough!

That being said, I had so much fun working on these pages, especially the last two, since they gave me a little variety with action, plus that panel showing the inside of that disgusting junkie apartment. XD Just filling the 3D model with dirt and destruction took me an entire afternoon back then, but I think it was worth it, right? :D

Also, last week I did some more thinking about the plot and ended up shifting a few things around so that the club scene happens earlier. A comic friendo basically told me: “Yo, Maus. Just move it. Don’t overthink it. Trust your readers, they won’t forget the villain while the boys are having some fun at the club.” XD

But first, Chapter 14 is coming very soon. And that one will be… intimate. :3

Omg… dieses Update 🥲🥲🥲 Ich hab mich wieder SO heftig verschätzt, wie lange das dauern wird. Das waren wahrscheinlich die bisher aufwändigsten Seiten in Band 7?! Besonders die vorletzte! Ja, die Hintergründe kommen bei mir aus der Dose, aber eben… nur die Basis! xD Wenn da ganz viel drauf ist, muss das alles in die Nachbearbeitung miteinbezogen werden. Also muss z.B. jeder Gegenstand im Vordergrund nochmal leicht nachgezogen werden, sonst wirkt das im Kontrast zu den Figuren einfach seltsam. 💀 Ich mag es überhaupt nicht, wenn 3D-Hintergründe nach 3D aussehen. Ich tue ALLES dafür, das zu vermeiden – und das dauert eben seine Zeit. X,D

Also: Danke, dass ihr so geduldig gewartet habt und mich so krass unterstützt! TuT ❤️ Das kann ich gar nicht oft genug sagen!

Die Seiten haben mir jedenfalls irre Spaß gemacht – vor allem die letzten beiden, weil ein bisschen Abwechslung dabei war: Action und ein Panel, das das Innere dieser ekligen Junkiewohnung zeigt. XD Allein dieses 3D-Modell mit Dreck und Chaos zu füllen, hat mich damals nen ganzen Nachmittag gekostet, aber es hat sich gelohnt, oder? :D

Außerdem hab ich letzte Woche nochmal über den Plot nachgedacht und ein paar Dinge umgestellt, damit die Clubszene etwas früher kommt. Ein comic-friendo meinte: „Yo, Maus. Stell das um. Verkrampf dich nicht so. Hab mehr Vertrauen in die Leser – die vergessen den Bösewicht schon nicht, während die Boys im Club abhängen.“ XD

Aber erst mal steht nun ganz bald Kapitel 14 an. Und das wird… intim. :3
