Naruto: Copy System#769+770: Yoruichi vs. Kuchiki Koga, Where Do You Think You're Going?

“You think my method is stupid, don’t you?”

Shin suddenly asked Yoruichi, whose lip was twitching uncontrollably.

“I do think it’s a bit foolish. Do you really think scouting all of Hueco Mundo is that easy?”

Yoruichi felt she needed to talk some sense into him. The workload was just too massive—she, for one, had no interest in doing it.

"Actually, this is the most reliable way. Do you have a better idea for finding Kuchiki Koga? Besides, for me, scouting all of Hueco Mundo isn't that hard."

Yoruichi thought about it. She really didn’t have a better plan. The only alternative would be to get Koga’s Reiatsu signature, then have the 12th Division build a device to track him.

“Alright, just follow me. Stick with me, and I guarantee we’ll find that Koga fellow,” Shin said, patting Yoruichi on the shoulder.

With that, Shin led Yoruichi on their search for Kuchiki Koga. Unless Koga had already left Hueco Mundo, Shin was certain he would find him.

———————————

It took about two days, but Shin pinpointed Kuchiki Koga’s location. Standing beside him was another man—Muramasa, the materialized form of his Zanpakutō.

“It seems Kuchiki Ginrei didn’t give me false information. You really did run off to Hueco Mundo.”

Shin looked calmly at Kuchiki Koga and Muramasa.

Muramasa, in turn, regarded Shin with extreme caution.

"Master, that's Shin Uzumaki, the Captain of the 2nd Division. The Seireitei really sent a captain after us... Why don't we just storm our way back?"

Muramasa suggested to Koga.

With his power, Muramasa was confident they could fight their way back and even had a chance of defeating the entire Seireitei.

Although Kuchiki Koga wasn’t even a lieutenant, his talent was exceptionally high. Kuchiki Ginrei had planned to groom him to become the next captain of the 6th Division.

After all, Ginrei’s own son, Sōjun Kuchiki, was frail and sickly from a young age, his talent and strength lacking. Becoming a lieutenant was the best he could hope for—a captaincy was out of the question.

So, while Koga was only the 3rd seat of the 6th Division, his strength already surpassed that of an average captain. He had achieved Shikai in his academy days, making him one of the most gifted Soul Reapers in the Soul Society’s history. Otherwise, he never would have been allowed to marry into the Kuchiki family.

"Shut up," Kuchiki Koga said flatly to Muramasa.

In truth, Muramasa was a tragic figure. A Zanpakutō completely loyal to its master, only to be rejected in the end.

“I’ll give you two choices. The first is to come back with me quietly. The second is to die here in Hueco Mundo. I’ll respect your decision. Now, choose.”

Shin said to Kuchiki Koga.

“Shin Uzumaki, I know you’re strong. Today, let me see just how powerful you really are.”

Kuchiki Koga drew his Zanpakutō and charged toward Shin.

“Your Shunpo is impressive, but not quite there yet.”

Just as Koga’s blade was about to strike Shin, Yoruichi’s own Zanpakutō intercepted it.

“You want to hurt my captain? You’re not worthy... You’re just the third seat. I’ll be the one to deal with you.”

Yoruichi’s words were sharp and merciless, dismissing him as nothing more than a third seat.

Her words struck a nerve, reopening a deep wound in Koga’s heart. The third seat.

He, whose talent he believed was second to none, was now no longer just a genius but a true powerhouse. Yet, he was still just the third seat.

Of course, Koga was resentful. Ginrei had said it was to temper him, but Koga no longer believed that. The power struggles, the conspiracies against him—his heart was filled with hatred.

"DIE! <Adamantine Burst!>"

The tip of his Zanpakutō suddenly unleashed a fireball that exploded with tremendous force, sending Yoruichi flying.

Covered in dust and soot, Yoruichi’s expression turned ugly.

“Looks like I underestimated you.”

She was annoyed. To be caught off guard like that—even though she wasn’t injured, she looked completely disheveled. And Shin was watching from the side.

For Shin to see her in such a state was incredibly embarrassing.

'Should I tell her about Muramasa’s power? Nah, let's not.'

Shin thought for a moment and decided against giving Yoruichi any intel on Koga. He wanted to see how far she could go on her own.

In truth, Yoruichi was no weaker than Koga. Moreover, she had a crucial advantage: her Zanpakutō had no Shikai. A Zanpakutō without a Shikai probably couldn’t be turned against its master. Even if her Asauchi materialized and rebelled, how strong could it be?

So, she didn’t have to worry about Muramasa’s most broken ability.

However, Muramasa also possessed a degree of hypnotic power, similar to Kyōka Suigetsu, though not nearly as potent.

Muramasa was a powerful Zanpakutō, but Shin had no intention of copying it. It had limited use for him. If he were to copy Muramasa, he might as well copy something cool like Senbonzakura.

Senbonzakura wasn't the strongest among all Zanpakutō, but in terms of sheer elegance, few could compare. It was perfect for showing off.

Strength wasn't everything—style mattered too. Shin fully intended to copy Senbonzakura someday, but Byakuya was probably just a baby at this point.

“Master, I’ll help you.” Muramasa transformed into a shadow and lunged at Yoruichi.

His speed was so great that he left only a dark blur in the air.

<Shunkō!>

Sensing the danger, Yoruichi activated Shunkō without hesitation, instantly putting distance between them. She watched Koga and Muramasa warily.

“What exactly is this Kuchiki Koga’s ability? And that demonic-looking guy… that must be his Zanpakutō, right?”

Yoruichi retreated to Shin’s side and asked.

"No idea," Shin replied, shaking his head.

Yoruichi didn’t doubt him—she assumed he genuinely didn't know. If she knew he was deliberately withholding information, she’d probably want to eat him alive.

“Just be careful. You’re essentially facing two captain-level opponents,” Shin reminded her.

Both Kuchiki Koga and Muramasa possessed captain-level combat strength, and they were quite formidable even among captains. If Yoruichi wasn't careful, she could be in for a world of hurt.

“Mm, I’ll defeat him.” Yoruichi nodded, a spark of battle in her eyes.

If she couldn't defeat him, what was all her hard work for? Yoruichi was absolutely confident.

Let her see what kind of power this genius Soul Reaper, whose reputation even surpassed her own, truly possessed.

With Shunkō activated, Yoruichi’s presence was equivalent to that of a Soul Reaper in Shikai. Her aura was now every bit as strong as Kuchiki Koga’s.

<><><><><><><><>

“You haven’t even released your Shikai?”

Muramasa, who had been planning to brainwash her Zanpakutō, froze. He couldn’t believe his target didn't have a Shikai.

He then shifted his focus to Shin, intending to turn his Zanpakutō against him.

But Muramasa froze again. Even Shin, a captain, hadn't released his Shikai.

"Impossible," Muramasa muttered, questioning his own existence.

“What’s wrong, Muramasa?” Kuchiki Koga asked. Though he had grown wary of Muramasa, he knew he still needed him for now.

"You dare to chat in front of me? You're really underestimating me."

"<Finger Pistol: Flash Burst!>"

Yoruichi’s finger shot toward Kuchiki Koga, but he blocked it with the body of his blade.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A massive surge of spiritual power erupted from Yoruichi’s fingertip, blasting Koga away.

Shin had taught Yoruichi the Finger Pistol. The Six Powers from the One Piece world, with a few modifications, could be taught to others. After all, they were techniques, not abilities tied to a specific power source. Skills like swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat techniques from that world could be passed on.

Haki, however, was different. It was an innate power unique to the people of that world and couldn't be taught. Shin himself had to copy it at first.

Though Haki couldn't be taught, Shin had developed a technique based on Armament Haki: Reiatsu Armor.

It enveloped the user’s entire body in an armor of spiritual power, granting immense defense and amplifying their own strength, much like Armament Haki. A Reiatsu-based version of Armament Haki. The power of this technique depended on the user’s Reiatsu. For someone like Yoruichi, a single punch could shatter a mountain.

At this moment, Yoruichi had activated both Shunkō and Reiatsu Armor, a double power-up.

Though the consumption was doubled, her combat strength was absolutely terrifying.

“DIE!”

Yoruichi showed no mercy, aiming to kill Kuchiki Koga.

Shin had already given him a choice: surrender and live, or resist and die. Since he had made his choice, Yoruichi would grant him his wish.

As for offending the Kuchiki clan, she didn’t give it a second thought. They were dealing with a criminal. Besides, even if she did offend them, the Shihōin clan had nothing to fear. Their two families' relationship wasn't so fragile that it would break over a single traitor.

“Let’s see how many of my punches you can take.”

A single punch could shatter a mountain. After taking one hit, Koga was nearly blown apart.

In truth, if Koga were facing any other Soul Reaper, he wouldn't be so passive. But against Yoruichi Shihōin, he was at a severe disadvantage. Because her Zanpakutō had no Shikai, Muramasa’s primary ability was completely useless.

Right now, Muramasa was little more than a captain-level assistant. Yoruichi was fighting two captain-level opponents, but she was still handling them with ease.

'Based on Yoruichi’s Reiatsu, she should have no problem taking them down before she runs out,' Shin thought, confident in her abilities.

After all, he had trained her himself. No one knew her true strength better than he did.

“You two are pathetic. Is this all you’ve got?” Yoruichi taunted them.

"<Ice Fang Tempest!>"

Koga would make Yoruichi pay for enraging him. In his fury, the Ice Fang Tempest he unleashed was a move that even Dankū would struggle to block.

“No matter how strong a move is, it has to hit. Can you even touch me?” Yoruichi used Shunpo to quickly put distance between them.

In her current state, the only person who could likely keep up with her Shunpo was Shin. No one else could. Even seeing her movements was a difficult task.

“Damn it.”

Koga wasn’t good at dealing with this type of opponent. Even his hypnosis was affected. His hypnotic abilities came from Muramasa—it was the Zanpakutō’s fundamental power, the same power used to brainwash other Zanpakutō. It was somewhat similar to Kyōka Suigetsu, though their focus seemed to be different.

Although his hypnosis wasn't fully effective, he could still use it to a limited extent, allowing him to dodge many attacks. In fact, if not for the hypnosis, Yoruichi would have already killed him.

“Your ability…” Yoruichi frowned, finally noticing something was off about Koga’s power.

Several times, she was sure her attacks had landed, but they had passed through him without hitting anything solid. And Koga was still unharmed...

Anyone with half a brain would realize something was wrong.

'Is this some kind of hypnosis or illusion?' Yoruichi became wary. She had thought he would be easy to deal with, but it seemed she was wrong.

As expected of a genius of the Soul Society. He was worthy of the title.

“Looks like you’ve figured it out.” Kuchiki Koga remained calm. It seemed she was already partially under his hypnosis. Escaping now shouldn't be a problem. He took a deep look at Shin and Yoruichi, then turned to leave.

Yoruichi, however, remained vigilant, her eyes fixed on Koga’s position, completely unaware that he was leaving. This was the power of hypnosis. She was seeing dust and sand as Koga, oblivious to the fact that the real Koga had already turned to flee.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Shin’s calm voice sounded right beside Kuchiki Koga. Koga’s steps froze instantly. He whipped his head around, staring at Shin.

“You weren’t affected by the hypnosis?”

“Hypnosis is just a battle of minds. Your mind is far weaker than mine. It’s only natural I wouldn’t be affected.”

Unless the opponent’s spiritual power surpassed Shin’s, they couldn't hypnotize him. Even if Aizen used Kyōka Suigetsu in front of him, it would be useless.

"Master, this person is extremely dangerous. We need to find a way to escape," Muramasa urged his master, Kuchiki Koga.

He could feel that the aura emanating from Shin was incredibly dangerous. Muramasa felt that even if he and his master teamed up, they would be no match for him. His senses were exceptionally sharp. He had never felt such a terrifying aura, not even from Captain-Commander Yamamoto. That was why he was advising Koga to flee.

“You think you can escape?” Kuchiki Koga didn’t run. Choosing to flee now would be a true death sentence. Could he really escape from him?

If he fought to the death, there was still a sliver of hope. Running away would likely mean certain death. The choice was clear.

Muramasa didn’t object to Kuchiki Koga’s decision. He was merely his master’s tool. Whatever his master chose, he would fight by his side until the end.
