Essentially this tool is to make it easier to use certain functions within blender without needing to learn locations and or hot keys. We intend on constantly updating this with further functions on a regular basis.
Current Functions:
Blend From Shape Keys - Cleans up shapekeys after shape changes from the original
Propagate Shape Keys - Makes sure all Shape Keys matches new object shape
Duplicate, Join & Merge By Distance - Process to remove seams and clean up the mesh (You'll want to apply mesh data transfer after this is done)
Enable Auto Smooth (This is needed for Merge By Distance and other function)
Recalculate Outside Normals
Set Normals From Faces
Goals for the future:
Transferring Shape Keys by UV with one button push
Auto Rigging with one button push
Installation:
Download the .zip
Open Blender > Go to edit > Preferences > Add-Ons
Install > Streamline Tool.zip > Enable
A Tab will appear next to the other tools on the right side and you should be set. This is coded to work with singular and multiple objects so it cuts down on development time.
