The bracelets and the necklace he's wearing actually belonged to him, and the cup and jug were modelled after real items as well. The throne is as it appears in the film. He's enjoying a cup of cool milk with honey.
Ramses is one of the earliest crushes I can remember having on a character as a kid, so drawing him felt very special and I can't wait to complete this piece.
And, one of my earliest digital drawings also depicts a fat pharaoh. Reading so much about life back then and drawing Ramses made me recall how fascinated I was growing up with all things Ancient Egypt.
