This is a potential scene from an AU I'm creating, where Marco and Jean enlisted in the Military Police and are now living in the heart of the Empire, in safety and comfort. However, Jean yearns for Mikasa's love still. Meanwhile, Marco loves Jean, but cannot bring himself to telling him this.
There's lots of angst, as Marco lives out his fantasies under the guise of helping his friend get the girl of his dreams, while Jean slips further into decadence.
