Happy 4th of July to those celebrating! 🎆 How’s everyone doing this week? I wanted to take a moment to share a little update and also express my heartfelt gratitude for all your support. Your love and encouragement honestly mean the world to me and keep me going every single day 💖
On a more personal note, I’m going to be trying out some new recipes lately and having a bit of a kitchen adventure (or misadventure!). Have you guys tried cooking anything new recently? Let’s share some favorite summer recipes in the comments!

2024-07-05 12:35:44 +0000 UTCThank you! I removed all four at once, my cheeks were so swollen, I couldn't even close my mouth, constantly doing a blep after surgery. There was tons of blood involved, coughing it all up every few minutes by how much it filled my mouth and I couldn't chew for two weeks. I fed myself with astronaut food and lots of pudding and soup. It was horrible, but I'm glad it's over. Now I have to move, buying lots of stuff and my new apartment is going to be a huge construction site for me for the next few weeks, but everything should be settled in September 😄 It's a lot, but I try to stay strong.

What new things are you cooking? This time of the year, I do less cooking and more just munching on nuts and dried fruit. When Fall rolls around I think I'll start a study trying to make the perfect marinara sauce.

2024-07-04 19:58:09 +0000 UTCHad a gaming weekend at a friends house recently and I usual bake some cookies plus some stuffed breads for everyone. I've made cookies coated in cinnamon sugar before but I tried dipping them in maple syrup this time first to make the sugar stick better. This all slid off in the oven and left rings of toffee in varying levels of burntness around each biscuit.

2024-07-04 19:46:52 +0000 UTCHeyho! My week was fine, there was a lot of stuff to do and not enough time for everything. Since I wrote my bachelor thesis at the start of this year, together with my wisdom teeth removal and am currently moving, I basically took a break from cooking since then, only eating fast food or recipes that take like 10 minutes to make. Before then, I was really good at cooking, thriving at how to season meat and how to cook it really, really good. But I hope my time management will better itself after I'm done with everything, because I bought myself a lot of stuff for baking. I want to finally learn how to bake cookies!
