DAX024: Round Table Discussion: Adding and removing characters? More character polls?

The results for the first character poll were exciting to see. We know that Riley is the most popular character, and Lupe and Sven are not too far behind, that is pretty clear! What is also clear is that there are some characters that were not too popular, namely Trav, and Riccardo.
It is quite early in the game, and Trav and Riccardo have lots of potential for their storylines, so I am still giving them a chance. I do wonder, after more polls, if these characters continue to do poorly, if they should leave the island, and other characters, such as the Surfer, can take their place.
Other ideas could be to make a poll for an antagonist character, or to just keep them as background characters that might occasionally remark.
I will still hold another poll for who the second character Dax meets. And I am quite certain that Lupe and Sven will be in the top again, which I think is great. A part of me does think, since the polls are pretty clear now, should I just automatically make Lupe the second, and Sven the third? Or continue with the poll as always, to give other characters their chance?
These are just ideas, so let me know your thoughts. Maybe another poll could be held depending on the discussion here. Thanks again for participating in Tropical Storm Dax!

Yes, I think that is what I am leaning more towards. I should announce some decisions soon!

2025-12-15 13:33:35 +0000 UTCSo I think if it makes it easier I would use Lupe and Sven since the vote count was pretty substantial I support the idea to plan scenes ahead if that makes it easier. Also I think the thought of an antagonist sounds like a fun idea.

2025-12-12 19:02:45 +0000 UTCI'm already writing a script and have a scenario; being a virgin was a plot point I thought of adding but I would only do it if it enhances or supports the story. Once I start storyboarding, I could see if that plot point could be added or not!

2025-12-04 13:22:17 +0000 UTCYes, I am considering after maybe Dax meets three guys, a vote for an antagonist could happen, to make things very interesting. The weird thing is that I originally intended for Riley to be a big antagonist, I even named his pet snake Petty for that reason. But if he is popular, I may bring out his "good side" more, What if the dad Rob becomes an antagonist? that would be dramatic lol!

2025-12-04 07:39:50 +0000 UTCIf not running a poll every time makes it easier for you to plan ahead three scenes, I support that. Also like the antagonist idea for less liked characters. Maybe once we get to know them we will want to build to something sexy.
