Police Academy

Hi guys! I am here with my next mod and this Mod was suggested to me by SimswithShan (Check her content out!)

REQUIRED:

• Get to Work

This is a Career Mod that is opened for Teens and upwards, it is a 5 Level Rabbithole Career.

• Cadet Officer (Freshman)

• Sophomore Cadet Officer

• Trainee Officer Intern

• Senior Cadet

• Police Academy Graduate

As this is meant to be an Academy, your Sim will be paid peanuts. Sorry!

THIS CAREER WILL NOT SHOW ON THE CAREER UI AT FIRST. PLEASE READ ON!!

To become a Cadet Officer, you will need to apply for the Police Academy and this is done on the Computer, under Police Academy Application!

Once you have applied, you will then see a new Option called, ' Take Police Academy Exam' which will send your Sim off to take the exam.

Now! If you send your Sim off straight away, they WILL come back rejected! To increase the chances of your Sim passing, I will advice you to have some (not all) of the below;

• Charisma, Fitness, Logic Skills

• Studied for the Exam

• Active, Genuis, Perfectionist, Adventurous, Ambitious Traits

• Psychology Degree from University

• High School A - C grade

• Previous Military or Athletic Career

You do not need to have all of these to pass. So for example if you have a Sim that's Lazy or a Drug Dealer (Basemental), points will be deducted however if your Sim studies for the exam and has the above skills or degree, they still have a chance of passing the exam!

However if there's more negative than positives then obviously this Academy isn't for them.

Once your Sim has passed, they can now access the Academy in the Career UI.

Homework and Studying

Once your Sim enters the career, they will automatically be given a Homework book. The Career also comes with two other Study Books, Criminal Law & Criminal Practices! If you lose any of these, you can buy them again from the Bookcases.

Training and Internships

The Academy comes with Training and Internships. Training is available for all levels however Internships become more available the higher your career level is. These can be found under the 'Business' Phone Menu

While in Training or Internships, you will be gaining and improving in certain skills and job performance. At random times, your Sim will also be taken on Field Trips to various places.

Undercover Assignment

Once you have reached Career Level 4 and your Sim goes to Specialised training while in that Level, they have a chance of being offered an Undercover Assignment. Your Sim will be gone for 2 Sim Days!

While there, your Sim will get Chance Cards like above and you will help them navigate the undercover Assignment. If your Sim comes back in one piece and assignment has been completed, they won't get offered it again. If your Sim doesn't complete it, they might get called up again.

Injury & Death

This Career comes with a chance of injury and/or Death.

With the Career comes Chance Cards. Some Innocent and Some not 😁

Choose Carefully~~ BUT if your Sim does come back injured, there is a Police Academy Hospital (Phone - Business) that could save their life. If not, RIP 🤷‍♀️

Also if your Sim does something Heroic while at work, they will be given a Certificate!

GRADUATION

Your Sim made it to Graduation! Congratulations 🥳

A few days into Level 5, your Sim will get a Phone Call asking if they will like to Join the Police Force.

If your Sim says Yes, they will automatically be placed in the Detective Career Level 2 (Officer), your Sim will also get paid more due to Graduating from the Academy. If you have Discover University, your Sim will also get the Psychology Degree (if your Sim doesn't already have it).

If your Sim says No, they will get all of the above minus the Career Jump to Detective.
