"Danny and Clay haven't had a lot of opportunities to go on dates. The horse tends to travel pretty far out of town to his family's farm and Danny is busy with his slew of college corses but they found some time. Danny was admittedly more excited than Clay but only because Clay had no idea how badly he wanted to see the griffin...until they were at the restaurant and he found himself unable to look away.
A small gesture toward the bathroom and a tight grip at the smaller bird's hips was all it took."
