Big Fat Life Update

Three years ago, I started uploading art as Dergum. I was between my last two semesters in college and had only recently started putting my content online. I never expected so much wonderful support – and being able to pay my rent doing something I loved was something I had never fathomed.

Back then, I couldn’t imagine doing art full-time. But these last two years have been some of the most fulfilling years of my life. I was nervous about starting up Patreon, but I’m so glad I took that commitment to upload and sustain myself through freelance. I've learned so much in such a short time, and have made many, many new friends from all around the world.

But, as time has gone by, new opportunities have been presenting themselves, and I feel like my life is once again shifting in surprising directions, just like it did when I started my Patreon. As a result, I realise my full-time commitment to Patreon will sadly come to an end. I owe it to those who supported me throughout the last two years to know what's coming next for me, Dergum, and my content going forward.

Will you still be making art?

Yes. But it won't be nearly as frequent. It takes time for long comics and other projects to come to life, and I don't plan on dropping the quality so I can rush stuff out. But I also can’t ignore new opportunities. I'll be doing Patreon more as a hobby – I’ll still be making stuff, just because I love doing it!

Will the Patreon be closing down?

No. People have expressed wanting to support me before, and the donations from those who like my stuff helps so much. I’ll still be making more content for Patreon. Your support has allowed me to focus on art and other endeavours. I still have a lot planned, especially for my Food Chain comic series (which, I also want to say, thank you all so much for making it a rousing success!)

I know a lot of people joined Patreon on the understanding that I would be doing art full-time.  As my content will be more infrequent, I completely understand if you choose to unpledge. I promise – there’ll be no hard feelings. In fact, I’d feel guilty if people remained pledged expecting the exact same upload schedule as before.

Being a part of this community and growing my art through your support has been special. I wouldn’t have traded this experience for anything. I have lurked in the vore community for years and have always hoped to make artwork, and it feels incredible to have contributed to this niche fetish we all have in common. I am so glad that I could be a part of your lives by sharing my artwork with you all. I can't wait to keep making content, even if it won't be as frequent.  Thank you, once again, for all the support over the years!

TLDR - Still making artwork and projects, keeping Patreon up for people who want to keep supporting, just not working on projects full-time anymore due to new life circumstances. Artwork won't be as frequent as they were before, but I am still committed to making new issues of the Food Chain series and various other standalone art pieces and commissions. (edited)
