Check In 11/10/2025

Two weeks in row, shit folks we're moving up in the world. Enjoy our check in and preview renders for the week. Gonna be quick and dirty this week, no long arty farty crazy post alas. I did have one planned, but unfortunately it had a visual element that I just couldn't quite complete in time because actual work was more important, but maybe we can get it next week. Anyway to business.

So the build I was going to send off today is a little behind but should be off hopefully tomorrow. The culprit for this is a batch of about 30 render fixes I set cooking last night to get added and sent off. To my everlasting joy I discovered upon inspection that something (I have no idea what) changed in my settings and left the final result of said renders all blurry and smeary. They honestly looked like some film student smeared far too much Vaseline all over the camera lens to make them seem ethereal or some stupid shit like that. Might have been neat if that had been the intended effect, but since it wasn't, I wasn't particularly keen on keeping it. No idea what the fuck i changed in my Daz settings to make it happen so ended up just starting fresh and knocked them out today, they're currently re cooking and looks like the problem solved so whatever I'll take the win. As exciting and sexy as that all is, it's really the only thing of note at the current moment, though I'll take minor issues over much larger ones so can't complain. So that's this weeks report, a few housecleaning notes before I hop off.

There have been some newer folks, or just some folks returning who've been asking questions about the Author Steam release so a few quick facts on it, Yes it's still happening, in fact it's mostly just sitting done, but untested. Obviously our current focus is finishing this Unbroken update so it's staying in that state until release. Once the Unbroken release is out the Author page will go live for wishlisting. We'll test it and then just let it do it's thing. The first two chapters will be available as a small demo once they're tested so folks can give it a gander and see what's new. But as stated Unbroken release needs to be off my plate first and then we'll worry about all that, just mentioned it cause I've been asked a bit more about it so I figured I'd pop it in real quick.
