yeah the people hanging were dressed up as the vox machina group, it was a message from the briarwoods, that ending was actually in the campaign, can't wait for more reactions!

It was a message from The Briarwoods. It was one of the most legitimately chilling moments in the original campaign. The players have even said since, "That was the moment when we realized Matt wasn't fucking around, these people are DANGEROUS." And having you just hearing the ropes creaking as the credits roll was an INCREDIBLE touch.
