The gambling Trandoshans are notorious for running the gladiator pits that Krrsantan fought in. They also enslaved and hunted Wookies for sport. If you look closely in episode one the Trandoshan guy literally brought a Wookie pelt as their tribute to Boba. That is why he attacked them in the bar.
