おかえり!

Ordo

I think he's getting it confused with the manga since almost nobody likes the direction it's taking in the final chapters. The anime is pretty amazing though!

The property sacrifices that were made for this reaction will not be forgotten, such dedication! Enjoyed watching reaction and discussion, and the fear going in to the episode coming off the last few is palatable, enjoyed the instant coping of let's go, we're going to see who dies next in this one!

Heike Monogatari is an epic story about the decline of the Taira clan during the late Heian period, with Todos last line "However, we are the exception!" not being part of the original. Heike Monogatari begins with the Buddhist law of impermanence. While it is essentially a story about fall from power driven by pride, it is also a story about courage, cruelty, power, glory, sacrifice and sorrow. It also immerses in the Buddhist theme of dharma, duty and fate. In Buddhism, the sala tree is sacred tree symbolizing the impermanence of life due to how quickly the flowers bloom and fall. The line "The color of the sāla flowers reveals the truth that the prosperous must decline" is taken from the Buddhist Humane King Sutra."The prosperous inevitably decline, the full inevitably empty." Todo was encouraging Yuji by subverting the meaning of the original excerpt. His subversion symbolises defiance to the divine law of the impermanence of things. He asserts that sorcerers may have mortal physical bodies but their will remains eternal.

The story that Todo tells of as he makes his entrance is of the Heike Monogatari epic
