Not rushed at all. Yes, it was a lot of exposition, but it was layered over like 5 or 6 separate and distinct emotionally driven scenes that all served to push the personal narrative of Itadori as he stepped out of the world he had known before and into the world of Jujutsu Sorcery. All of which prevented the episode from feeling like it was just standing still talking at us while also telling us everything we needed to know.
