Dear Bob, I have a suggestion, something that's been at the back of my mind for a couole of years that is yet to form into a coherent project... But first, thank you for this truly fascinating work. The suggestion, which I would be more than happy to colaborate in or if you wished to run with it alone I would be pleased to see something realised, well, the suggestion is this: 'An Encyclopaedia Of The Unknown' - because, as you quite rightly infer in this video, and its a topic that deeply troubles me, there is a common illusion, or delusion in the popular consenssus today that we know everything, or almost know everything, or, that scientists just have a few details left to work out about things like dark matter or what happened before the big bang perhaps, but even these obvious unknowns are somehow down-played. I consider this a kind of Dunning Kruger effect, and, well, in a nut shell, as someone who has always been fascinated by physics, science in general and everything else, that delusion of completion in our knowledge set seems like an incredibly foolish and indeed unscientific standpoint given that the unknown is, by definition, unknown and therefore unquantifiable, so one can never know how much one knows in comparison to that left unknown or yet to learn. ...We spend so much energy reguritating what we believe we know today - see the fact checkers etc. etc. So, suffice to say, I think, we would would be far better focusing on what we don't know, which is why I really rate your work incidentally, because it does that, in an authenically enquiring, intelligent way. I mentioned this to a sister a while ago i.e. that we have so much left to learn, it was during 2020 when that delusion was at peak visibility somehow and her response surprised me - she said it gave her hope. Hence, this idea occurred to me: 'An Encyclopaedia of The Unknown'. Of course, it presents a paradox immediately, but, none-the-less, I put it to you here; to what end I do not know. I have mulled the question over and wondered if it would work best as a website like wikipedia, a place where reasonable questions which reveal a gap in knowledge are collected. I know I would be far more inclined to browse that than a list of facts, not everyone is like that, but I am and I am not alone. You could go there when bored or looking for inspiration and find a mystery, something to which there is no answer yet and begin an exploration, I think it would be an incredible resource and a perfect antidote to the reddit fact-checking, citation obsessed, appeal to authority mindset... There you are, I will be surprised if you read this wall of text, more surprised if you reply, but there it is, Bob Gymlan, my suggestion. I am afraid I can't afford to sustain payments here on your patreon so I might not be able to read a reply if you put it here, I read all comments on my channel [ Jesse P. Watson - there's other Jesse Watson's but not with the initial 'P', last time I checked anyway - 'Renegade Renaissance Man' ] leaving a reply there may be a safer bet as I may lose the ability to view this video - I just wanted to watch the second part of your bigfoot interview, which has got me thinking, deeply, about the ancestry of the thing - so many unknowns. I shall leave it there, thanks again, Jess. PS. If you have a quiet moment, I likewise suggest you look into the folkloric entity known as a 'Hob' (see. The Farndale Hob from the neighbouring valley in the North Yorkshire Moors where I was raised) or 'Boggart', they go by various other names too - a hair covered, big footed entity, very illusive, found in the wild places in rural areas, you must never give them clothes, farmers used to leave a bowl of cream out for them, they'd bring good fortune and aid if so, ruin if disrespected. Always thought, if not entirely fictional, they may represent an memory of 'uncivilised' folk living on the borders of newly claimed farmland.

You captured how little we actually know, and I'm really impressed! I love your videos Bob, don't let the haters get you down.
