No Good Deed In any order☺ If you watch one of these movies and don't enjoy it, I won't ask y'all to watch anymore. I've been asking and waiting for a while now because many of the black cinema films recommended to you all aren't really regarded as staples, such as "Love Don't Cost A Thing" and others. While I agree those movies should make the watchlist at some point...just not before so many other films that are actually good. Y'all have watched a lot that are staples like The Best Man movies, The Wood, Tyler Perry movies, Love & Basketball, etc., and there are so many more, even more than this list, such as Dead Presidents and Sugar Hill, etc.

2026-01-27 21:58:40 +0000 UTCIm still at the beginning of the video but a fun fact: this movie was written in the 90s and was intended for tupac to play this role. After pac passed the movie got archived. That's why you see a lot of tupac in this film in jody's room.

Also, eventually you should react to some black cinema from the 70's, There are some classics there as well. Cooley High, Car Wash, Claudine, Dolemite, Lets Do it Again, Uptown Saturday Night, Which Way is Up, Super Fly, The Mack and SHAFT plus many more. They didn't have the biggest budget, but they are cultural classics and good for many laughs. So because the shaft movies will connect to the original and you might want to understand some of the references in the newer film and in some of the shows and moves you are watching, like Martin, it would be good to see. Also im interested in hearing your commentary of the movie making of the 70s. I have a lot to say about Baby Boy, ill do that in a 2nd comment
