This show is so much fun! Happy to show support! I think the reason for the 27 year wait might only be due to its imprisonment. IT probably only feeds enough to sustain while trying to survive in cycles. But IT also has to make this cloud over Derry to make people who leave forget, and keep those who stay dulled for the duration. And it has to maintain that influence both while it sleeps and when its awake. So I would think IT feeds that way so as not to draw attention from the outside world. But now without that boundary, IT can do what it wants with unlimited access to the world's fear. Without the need to conserve energy, IT can now feed while growing its cloud of "sedation" without end.
