Sansa said multiple times she wanted more people there and that they should wait to gather more men but Jon insisted on going with what they had because he wanted to attack right away. I think it would have been more egregious if the vale were ready to join from the beginning and sansa just had to tell jon to wait BUT their arrival wasn't guaranteed and sansa doesn't want to rely on little finger/owe a debt to him. That all being said. I think it comes down to bad writing. Jon could've asked sansa if the knights of the vale were an option and sansa could have said no or something. Everything else would have gone like it did in the show and it would be less upsetting but I think the writers just wanted a wow moment for the viewers to clap at, so sansa withholding info from jon is the same as hiding the surprise from the audience. Sansa really can't catch a break in universe and by the writing lol

They deleted their comment so I suppose they may have realized their mistake. Nothing I said is anything that isn't already known in the show up to this point. The main characters from Dorne in the show right now we know are Sand. Ellaria, Obara and the other 2 sisters, we know their last name is Sand and that they're bastards. And multiple times it has been said throughout the show that Rhaegar kidnapped and "assaulted" Lyanna. Michael even repeated it in this very video (although he doesn't believe, or at least he questions, that that's the truth). That would mean Jon is still a bastard. Nothing I've said is a spoiler.

Second of all, Dany and Jon are not cousins but you're close. Rhaegar and Dany are siblings, so with Jon being Rhaegar's son, they're aunt/nephew. Third of all, Jon isn't a Stark. His mother is Lyanna Stark but his last name isn't Stark. Lyanna giving birth to Rhaegar Targaryen's son outside of marriage would make him a bastard. Bastards in the north have the surname Snow. Jon was borne in a Tower in Dorne, not in the north. The last name of bastards from Dorne is Sand. Remember those 3 sisters and their mother from Dorne are all bastards with last name Sand.
