Whatever is becoming the norm for our society, that’s what they go at. Think about how they brought PC principal in specifically when woke culture was at its peak to point out hypocrisies of that movement as well. Even back to early South Park making fun of censorship of media deemed inappropriate or the Iraq war. People get confused or forget due to recency bias, but they aren’t political. More often than not, our country and society make topics politically charged and the subjects Matt and Trey cover happen to be political, but that’s never their focal point. One of their biggest targets are people who are extremist for any ideology or people who say they’re dedicated to a cause when they genuinely aren’t, and what category of people are most attributed to both of those qualities? People who make their political stance their identities. If anything, after the first episode of this season, everyone should have had a huge reminder that the only people Matt and Trey pander to are themselves. 5 min in… is cartman about to feed Clyde his dad? (Cuz Clyde already killed his mom). Dude is on a crusade to show he’s the most offensive, idk if I’d push him like that rn… edit: damn, Clyde got off easy… I got 2 kids, work my ass off working 1on 1 with kids with autism, financially, things can be really tight fairly frequently. I’ve wished I could have jobs with a 6 figure salary. But finding out how much ICE pays right now from this video and still being completely repulsed by the idea of having to work under that agency… it was a nice personal moment to feel reflexively in my gut that I would never throw away my morals and sell my soul for that fucked up shit. Ok, after all these years, Trey and Matt can still get me. Vance made me laugh WAY too loud…
