I'll give you a clue. The option is to 'reveal the truth to Tsunade'. Nothing more. Nothing less.

2025-11-04 20:56:47 +0000 UTCI’m still confused as to how tf he’s gonna explain this shit to her. The only reason he even knows he’s right is because of the system, it’s not like he even has actual proof……

2025-11-03 17:39:28 +0000 UTCThank you for the chapter. While I can understand the morality conflict that Daichi is having, ultimately this is not his secret. Tsunade is family to Daichi, and she should be given the choice. Ultimately the choice is your as the author. I wrote a much longer and better explanation but something happened with the app being unable to post and as such my original post didn’t work.

2025-10-31 20:37:34 +0000 UTCI agree with this Comment, Tsunade will be hurt for a short time. But in the long term, this is better for both parties. Deal with the consequences as they come, better to ask forgiveness then permission given the contents that is within the Truth.

2025-10-31 17:59:37 +0000 UTCI think the foundation of any real relationship is trust. If he holds this back from her, even if it hurts her, it will fundamentally change their relationship. This is by no means as close as with a partner or spouse, but in Naruto world the relationship between a sensei and disciple is the closest you can get aside from that. Do as you like with the story, but I think some hard truths must be shared with those you care for. I would even go as far as to say that with the power he now holds, Daichi should go full disclosure with Kensei and Tsunade. Man is not meant to be an island unto himself. There needs to be someone in Daichi's life he can trust to the hilt. This is one of the things I believe the canon show gets right in its portayal of the strengths of the greatest characters. Those who allow themselves to trust and work as a team triumph over lone wolves who seek to control others through techniques or intimidation. Hiruzen trusting Danzo was not wrong. Hiruzen not reacting to Danzo breaking that trust is what was wrong. There are some lyrics from "The Rose" that I feel apply to this situation, even similarly to Daichi's own mental assessment before the Tsunade crisis when his own conscience berated his cautiousness. It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance It's the one who won't be taken who cannot seem to give and the soul afraid of dyin' that never learns to live Right now he is making these decisions for Tsunade, when I believe that if he truly cares for her and believes in her, then he would share this information, and be there for her if she stumbles, including sharing his own secret about his past life if that is right for the moment. Because I believe his concern for himself is subconsciously coloring his concern for how he is handling this dilemma.

2025-10-31 17:52:46 +0000 UTCHonestly, I thought choosing the 'Unknown Consequences' would be pretty significant. Given that two things I see benefiting her learning the Truth. One, she's is indeed in a low point in her mind set. While this 'might' indeed break her, from what I can understand, it a very small chance. More than the likely scenario, telling her the Truth would likely have her change her outlook. 'At one's lowest point, one is most accepting of Change.' This would probably have her take the position of Hokage, but the Reasons behind it change and multiple. To ensure a change for the far better. Second Her view Point on Wood Style if she has it, telling her the Truth would change from 'Surviving the Curse' to 'Inheriting the First Hokage's Strength'. Of course her Mental State of the Wood Style would adjust. If negatively, it could grow weeds, parasitic plants or otherwise piecing wooden stakes. Very bad for a Healer/Medic. Though if in the positive light, well, sky's the Limit if she's thinking of how to use it to protect the Village. Both it's Healing Properties from Medicine Study, it's defensive and offensive Properties and of Course weird Chakra Capacity. An enormous asset to the Village and to herself, while I admit. Her being stuck in one place would be a bad thing, she'll fuck anything up that gets in her line of sight. Her presence will cause all sorts of problems, Naruto will want to get stronger cause the 5th Hokage is a new level of no. Which will force Sasuke to Grow along with Sakura if she realises she's falling behind. Then we have the 4 Nations sweating over the Behemoth that is Tsunade, thinking she was getting stronger while she was away and somehow learnt Wood Style if she ever shows it. Either way, big win for the Protagonist here. Though there will be some downside, there is always a caveat to big choices.

2025-10-31 17:42:33 +0000 UTCYeah I know. I was troubled by that choice too. Felt that it was out of charactor him. I don't know what I was thinking rewriting this

2025-10-31 17:20:29 +0000 UTCHonestly, not telling her is a terrible idea. The idea that Daichi could actively hide it from her knowing she thinks the is carrying a curse around with her is so out of character that I genuinely can’t believe it. If it was something that didn’t affect her too much then maybe, but something that important to her?

2025-10-31 17:11:21 +0000 UTCYeah. I know. It was my thought process too... I knew you guys wouldn't agree with this choice..

2025-10-31 17:07:38 +0000 UTCI think keeping Tsunade in the dark about the truth of her loved ones' deaths is a really selfish choice. instead of finding a way to let her know and giving her time to actually deal with the loss, he just left her in the dark for someone to possibly use the truth against her. Not to mention it could have alleviated a large portion of the guilt and trauma she has regarding their deaths.

2025-10-31 17:05:44 +0000 UTCYeah. This the problem I've had to deal with for two days. At first I wrote it as Daichi telling her and made plans to follow up with that plot line but I changed it.
