April's patreon reward for Leaf!

Feat. two OCs, Riley the lucario (Owned by Leaf) and Slate the Arcanine.

This one took a weird turn actually because I originally thought Slate is canonically a LOT bigger than the other characters in general, it wasn't until talking to Leaf I found out he's not that big when in anthro form.

(I regret to inform you that I accidentally forgot to set up the timelapse for this drawing, so the program never recorded anything, I'm sorry for the inconvenience)

1- Base sketch: I start with the basic body sketches for both characters, making sure everything goes well with the body proportions.
2- Lineart: I add the clean lines on top of the sketch and add the remaining things that were missing on the sketch (the clothes)
3- Flat colors: Then I color the characters taking the colors off their respective references, and color the clothes to my liking, however I was asked to make the underwear on Slate be full of Leafeon faces.
4- Gradients: Every color gets a set of gradients (dark/light) dark on bottom light on top.
5- Shading: Now comes the shadows and highlights! This time they did a wonderful job enhancing the look of Slates muscles.
6- Lighting effects: Then comes the color correction and glow effects!
7- Env. Shadows: Last but not least come the shadows, and we're done! ^^
