[Reward | WIP] Mikel The Bartender

Feat one of the most interesting OCs I've seen, Mikel the Epaulette shark! Working as a bartender at your favorite bar!

These were the steps taken to create this piece:

1- Sketch: With a little bit of time I manage to get the bodyshape going for this fella. After a couple corrections here and there I decide to include the clothes on the same sketch as the body since the outfit was not too complicated and it was easier in the long run.
2- Lineart: Then with the sketch done I include all the clear detailed lines based off it.
3- Flat Color: Then I fill in the lines and include the basic flat colors to get started on the gradiant stages, gradients which this guy has a lot of.
4- Gradients: Here I take my time to separate each extra color for the character in two extra layers, while using a couple extra brushes to get some extra textures in for the lil guy! and of course I get some gradient going for the other colors such as darker and lighter.
5- Shading: With the colors in, I add some shadows and highlights in 3 different layers, with different settings and colors to suit the color palette I added to the character.
6- Lighting effects: Then I add some extra layers with some glow effects done in airbrush!
7- Env. Shadows: Last but not least I include some shadows on the ground for the finishing touch and it's done!
