Feat. their Bear OC Colossa and Bird OC Aeli, in a very interesting situation (ngl that's hardcore).
Aeli's so small compared to this giant she has no chance against her, so Colossa's just toying around with her as she pleases.
Steps:
- 1- Sketch 1: The 1st sketch (both characters drawn in different sketches) was very straightforward and relatively easy to make since there's not a whole lot of perspective on this drawing.
- 2- Sketch 2: Some tweaks later I improved the size ratio on both characters becasue Aeli seemed too big for the instructions given, I also took the time to draw well the squish between her boobs to get a better idea how it should be when the lineart comes.
- 3- Final Sketch: After a revision from Ether, I went ahead and corrected the size difference, now Aeli looks more her natural size compared to Colossa, who I've also done some improvements on (And also addded nipples!)
- 4- Lineart: With the sketch now done, I move on to the detailed clean lines based off the sketch.
- 5- Flat colors: Then I fil in all the lines with the basic colors I was given from references.
- 6- Gradients: Then all colors get two gradients (light and dark) and with that I get a little extra effect on it :)
- 7- Shading: After that, I include 3 layers with different settings and colors meant to serve as shadows and highlights.
- 8- Lighting effects: Then I move on with some color correction, and some glow effects!
- 9- Env. Shadows: And last but not least, I add some environmental shadows both on the floor and in the air.
