- 1- Sketch 1: On the 1st sketch I designed the simple layouf of the refsheet, and concentrated on the correct body type I was asked to draw, which was very fat and plump. as requested by the commissioner!
- 2- Sketch 2: On a couple separate layers, I added the extra elements needed for the back view of the character, that is the shell, the spikes and the tail!
- 3- Sketch 3: After the 1st revision I was told to make some changes, including making the neck more humanoid, the feet bigger and more even to the legs.
- 4- Sketch 4: As for the extra elements, the shell was supposed to be smaller (allowing you to see the butt) and the tail much shorter and pointy, while the shell got the spikes removed and the tree was positioned at the center of it.
- 5- Sketch 5: Next I added the 3rd and last view (I was commissioned to draw 3 views) showcasing a different pose and putting more focus on the shell on her back (which isn't shown in this specific sketch.)
- 6- Sketch 6: Again, on a separate layer, I drew all the remaining elements for the 3rd view the same way I did for the 2nd one (center)
- 7- Sketch 7: The sketch phase ends with all 3 views ready to start the lineart process
- 8- Lineart and layout: Added the clean lines with all proper details along with the text and all other things needed for a reference sheet!
- 9- Flat colors: Added all the basic colors as well as adding them to the color palette for easier access.
- 10- Gradients: Added darker and lighter gradients to all colors
- 11- Shading: Added 3 layers with shadows and hightlights which are all colored to fit the flat colors
- 12- Lightning effects: Added some layers with some glows on the skin and some other things!
- 13- Background: Added a very simplistic background trying to complement the colors of the main character!
- 14- Ver 2 Lineart: Lineart made for the 2nd version
- 15- Ver 2 Flats: flat colors made for the 2nd version
- 16- Ver 2 Fire lineart: the decayed version has a fire thingy that differentiates it from the lush version, so here I showcase it's creation separately
- 17- Ver 2 Fire flats: basic transparent fill for the flames
- 18- Ver 2 Fire details: Added more shadows and details to the flames!
