Early access of a commission being made for Tylerfors on dA.
Featuring a cartoon version of their Special someone wearing a Cat costume!
- 1- Sketch 1: The base sketch for the main body was made fairly quickly, since I was given good instructions on how to get the body to look similar to the real person behind it!
- 2- Sketch 2: The 2nd sketch was based around the clothes, which were very simple in nature
- 3- Sketch 3: The final sketch included the final elements I had forgotten at first, like the cat ears and tail, and also deleted the overlapping lines
- 4- Lineart: Added the clean lines with all the remaining details that the sketch was lacking.
- 5- Flat Colors: Added the basic colors for the clothes and the skin along with the hair
- 6- Gradients: Added simple gradients for all flat colors for better quality overall.
- 7- Shading: Added 3 layers of shadows and highlights creating a cellshaded effect
- 8- Visual effects: Added glow and other light reflection effects with an airbrush and some layer settings
- 9- Environmental shadows: Added some final extra shadows
