Here are all the steps taken to create the lastest reward for Leaf! and now there's also a speedpaint video! (CHECK ATTACHMENTS AT THE BOTTOM TO WATCH)

1- Sketch: Basic rough sketch to place all characters
2- Lineart: Clean lines along all proper details and proportions
3- Full Colors: I add all colors following the references provided
4- Pants correction: During the process of making the reward, I was told something about the "pants" not being like I originally thought, so I had to do a small tweak to fix it.
5- Gradients: I color all lines for them to blend more nicely, and then add a little set of gradients to all colors to make them look better!
6- Background base: Now on to the background, I didn't use a sketch for this one but rather followed a suggestion from the client (using a rough sketch they gave me)
7- Background details: Now for a more complicated part, I draw SEVERAL layers, all separated through folders, using the watercolor brush, to make out all the details for each separated part of the bg.
8- BG Light effects: Then some very rough extra effects with a watercolor brush to simulate the shadows and lights.
9- BG + Char integration: Put both the characters and bg together
10- Shading: Now I add 3 layers (2 for shadows 1 for hightlights) set to multiply for shadows and clear for light, all of them colored to fit the colors of the bg.
11- Extra Effects: Finally, some extra effects for lightning, and we're done!!
