Here are all the steps taken to create the lastest patreon reward!
- 1- Early body sketch: First I start working on the rough sketch to figure out the posing for the character, I try to go for a more classy but relaxed/chill pose, something to fit the character itself.
- 2- Clothes sketch: Then I add in the clothes, (while looking at the proper refs) on the sketch so I can get everything figured out before I start the lines! As you can tell, I was tasked to go for a xmas outfit.
- 3- Refined sketch: Later I take the sketch and fix some issues with proportions, posing, and things of the sort. I specially looked at the leaning issue.
- 4- Lineart: Then I move in with the final lines, getting all the details done based off the sketch.
- 5- Flat color: Later on I move in to the flat colors on the lineart following refs as always.
- 6- Extra colors + color lineart: Then I add the complementary colors necessary to finish the character, and on top of that I color the lineart as well as thickening the outline!
- 7- Extra touches and environment: To finalize everything, I add the shadows and the usual bg finish. And also I added a small detail on the stockings too!
