- 1- Early Sketch: This time I got the pose figured out properly on the 1st sketch, despite Leaf letting me know what kind of pose to be going for, I also included a little pog riley just for fun lol.
- 2- Face expression alts: After receiving feedback on the 1st sketch, I got asked to change the face so I drew a few extra alts for Leaf to choose from, they went for the on in the center.
- 3- Final sketch: After correcting some proportion mistakes (specially the head) and correcting the face, I was finally ready to start lineart.
- 4- Lineart: As always, I get the lines and fur effects done following the sketch.
- 5- Base flats: Following the refs, I get the basic colors in.
- 6- Full colors and gradients: Then, on subsequent different layers I add extra gradients to the necesarry places to suit the design properly.
- 7- Shading: Now for the lightning effects/shading stuff! As usual, 3 different layers, two for shadows and one for hightlights.
- 8- Extra effects: I add glow effects to the illuminated parts and make the colors pop out a little more too for asthetic purposes.
- 9- Bg and environment shadows: To finalize it, I add some shadows as well as a placeholder bg on top of the default bg.
