Added 2020-09-08 06:49:26 +0000 UTCThese were all the steps taken for the making of the Jolteon/Flameon fusion!!
- Rough sketch: I started by doodling a rough version of the fusion following the basic instructions given and the refs provided.
- 1st sketch revision: I erase some guidelines and then I add some details here and there too, I make the tail a lot smaller and I polish the face to give some life to the character too.
- 2nd sketch revision: As per requested during feedback I tweak the proportions on the head and lower body along with some other changes
- final sketch: Finally I resize the sketch to the desired size to start working on it.
- Lineart: I add clean lines with all the proper details in them
- Flat colors: I take the colors directly from the references provided (official pokémon art), most of them came from the Jolteon but the tail and the inner ear came from the Flareon!
- Shading: I take the time to draw all the shadows and highlights while also making them a more natural and eye pleasing color!
- Gradients and lineart color: I add some gradients to make the pic less sharp an a tad more seamless
- Extra effects and final touches: And finally I add a couple glow effects on the skin, along with some color corrections here and there; and also add some electricity too!
