The thing with Daemon is that he truly does love his family and heβs willing to do whatever it takes to not only protect them but to keep them at the top in terms of power. He just doesnβt think his brother is a good King and ultimately Daemon just wants recognition from his brother. Also the βarenβt you related?β Comment made me laugh because Targaryens are famous for their incestuous marriages whether that be brother/sister, aunt/nephew, uncle/niece, etc. I think the only form of incest that they didnβt do was parent/child. And youβre right Princess Rhaenys wasnβt saying all those things to be mean, sheβs just trying to give Rhaenyra a reality check because sheβs been through it before. Great reaction!
