_Artemis Development Log

Goooooood morning, Night city!

This was a fun week, sort of. Had some small snafus, but nothing that affects development. I went a little crazy and purchased some assets and realized my drive that houses all my DAZ assets only has about 500MB left. I ordered a 6TB drive that should be coming in tomorrow. I currently have a 1TB for my "DAZ Drive", so not a crazy size to migrate over once it comes. But that's my asset drive, Artemis is on a completely different drive. Which I also plan on migrating, but not planning on doing the entire project migration until CH4 releases. I noticed when building a test build the other day, not all files are downloading for offline mode. It's an easy fix. But easy fix or not, I no longer trust Google Drive. I've moved the "Build" directory to Dropbox and will see how that goes before doing the rest of the directory.

The date scene was one I've anticipated working on for a while and really happy with how it turned out. There are a handful of shots I need to wrap up for the scene but nothing that would cause delay. That said, once I get them out the way. I'll be working on the big scene for CH4. Fortunately, for those who can recall, I did a lot of the prep work at the beginning of development for the set. As well as prep the majority of the costumes for the guests. So, on top of the INK girls, MC and Kindra. I dressed around 44 guests with costumes already. There are like 3 or 4 I still need to dress, but the guest list I created a few months ago already has the costume ideas jotted. I just need to create the scene subsets for them and they're ready. All that said, not a whole lot of prep needed for the final scene.

CH4 is currently at 3,354 story renders. After I wrap up the remaining shots I need to pose and render for the date, I'll be doing the remaining prep work for the final scene for CH4. This one I have a bit of jitters with since I'm finally re-introducing the LiDAR app. so lots of moving parts with this scene, but to say that it's next on the list is a big relief. I always feel like the wait is always the worst. Kind of like waiting 30 minutes in line to bungiejump, all these thoughts are crossing your mind while you wait. But once you're up and all strapped in. It's just a matter of saying "fuck it" and dive in, haha. Anyways, I'm excited for this update and I'm doing my absolute best to deliver a polished release.
