Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Since my last post, I've been working on refining the characters and their outfits. There are still some details to work out and I need to create extra clothes and hair for some characters.

I still couldn't finish some scenarios. I believe that another week will be enough to have the graphics finished enough for us to move on to the next steps.

But I took a little detour this week as I wanted to test out the new character settings within an animation creation flow. The challenge was to take a mocap from a yoga sequence and make it fit Rose Pound's proportions.

Mocap files are difficult to work with, especially on cartoon characters, which don't have realistic proportions. The biggest difficulty was getting Rose to hold her feet.

The result is not excellent but it is very satisfactory for this phase. It proves that it is possible to adapt mocap animations to use in the game, and this can save me some time when we are in the phase of animating the scenes. You can check the result in the video below:

Bearing in mind that these animations are being captured from the game engine, not prerendered, and they are not finished either, I'll spend some time fixing the details when the time comes.

I will continue to work on the graphics. I want to create a demo so you guys can see the characters working in the game. But maybe I'll save that for after reviewing the code, which will be the next step.
