I totally agree with you on almost everything you said, Topher. Honestly, the only reason I’m still watching is because of the man in glasses and their storyline. That other guy — I think his name is Shen — is a bit annoying, but at least he’s genuinely unaware. Meanwhile, the twink in white, like you rightfully pointed out, is just plain evil. People keep saying it’s the Omegaverse and a different universe, but for me, any relationship built on lies is a no, no matter what world it’s set in. I can’t accept the “it’s okay because it’s a different universe” argument — manipulation isn’t justified by world-building. It stopped being playful and started feeling downright predatory. And people say the person he’s manipulating — I think Sheng — is arrogant and all that. But so far, I don’t see him as that bad. We’ve seen far worse arrogant characters. He’s actually quite polite to most people, including his secretary. He’s not the most kind or perfect man, but he’s definitely not a bad person either. Just because he’s had multiple partners doesn’t make him a villain. Sure, he’s got some commitment and detachment issues, but that doesn’t mean he deserves to be manipulated to this level.

And it’s a universe where people are divided into animalistic subgroups and men can carry babies so real life logic and human morality really don’t apply.

What tends to get me raging out loud (at home alone like a crazy person) is that i don't understand WHY he keeps torturing Shaoyou when he claims to be all soft for him. I don't buy the enigma training theory, that must be book cannon, but i dont plan to read it, so the drama will need to explain itself
