I love Taichi's body language too; the carefree, uninhibited nature of it. My hearing has worsened with age and I can relate to the feelings of isolation and worry about being a nuisance. It's not as bad though, because I am older, out of school, like my own company, and have more control over my social situations. Hearing aids are a godsend but they do have issues in noisy crowds. Since I'm an introvert who already has issues with noisy crowds, I only occasionally have to deal with this.
