2025-06-28 20:16:04 +0000 UTCI totally get the confusion lmao. I was hella confused when I first watched, even after watching the prequels and sequels, I was still confused. Here's a small explanation for what they're doing: NO SPOILERS: Wu Xie's looking for his uncle (Master San, the guy that employed Shades, the mute guy, and Fatty). His uncle is known for disappearing and not speaking to him for long periods of time, and Wu Xie wants answers about members of the group of clans his family belongs to. His uncle has those answers. The reason his uncle is heading to this specific place is because of a legend of a Queen's kingdom that was long buried, his uncle wants the artifacts and riches to sell and examine, and so does Ah-Ning's people. Hence, them traversing through the desert.
