Oi! Welcome to Zalgul-3, the dump planet where the light of the galaxy barely reaches. We are the Heap People, the forgotten souls who scrape out a life among the ancient refuse of the Great Southern Heaps. While the factions out there bicker and crumble, we endure, sifting through the remnants of the Old Hegemonies.

This here is the first chapter of Tales from the Great Southern Heaps. They call it Sorrowskull Mines. It's one of the many dark gateways into the labyrinth beneath these mounds of junk. Once, our people dug through these mines, finding bits of value in the trash. Now, they're overrun by dangers – especially those giant, poisonous centipedes. The mines may be nearly picked clean, but deeper tunnels lead further into the Heaps, where greater horrors and hidden treasures await. Prepare yourself, for the path ahead is fraught with peril.

Adventure Level

This Fifth Edition and Tales of the Valiant-compatible adventure is designed for three to five characters of 1st level. Characters who successfully reach the eastern passage in Area 8 should earn enough experience to reach level 2.
