Community Contributions - The Astral Town of Skrag

Welcome to Skrag, friend. Started out as just a big ol' rock floatin' in the Astral Plane, but we've made it our own. Built this town from all the junk we could find driftin' through the Silver Void. Now it's a bustling hub where skimmers, planejumpers, astralites, and all sorts of folks come together. If you find yourself wanderin' the Astral Plane, chances are you'll end up in Skrag sooner or later.

Skrag ain't your typical town. Imagine a massive, potato-shaped clump of junk floatin' through the Astral Plane, with the ground always bein' "down" no matter where you stand. That's Skrag for ya. The streets wind and curve around the rock, so much so that you can see the town bendin' over itself as you walk. It's a strange sight, but folks here are used to it.

At the ends of Skrag's longest sides, which we call the poles, you'll find two mansions. Each one houses one of the two elderly, cantankerous men who constantly bicker over who's in charge. There's no real direction in the Astral Plane, so the good folks of Skrag often argue over which pole is north and which pole is south. Makes for some lively debates, that's for sure.

The town itself is a patchwork of buildings made from whatever junk we could scavenge. Homes and shops are built from bits of rock, wood, metal, and enchanted artifacts, giving Skrag a unique, eclectic look. Every corner you turn reveals something different—an astralite’s hut made from shimmering crystals, a skimmer's workshop full of enchanted tools, or a planejumper's shop brimming with exotic goods from other realms.

In the heart of Skrag, you'll find the market, always bustling with activity. Vendors hawk their wares, from fresh astral fish to salvaged magical items. The air's filled with the sounds of haggling, the clinking of coins, and the hum of enchantments. It's a place where you can find just about anything—if you know where to look and have the right price.
