The Pigpen Trivia: Virgil Pigsdy

You could say that Virgil is just a simple man with a simple life, but he can prove that good things also come in big packages.

Virgil is the oldest of the three siblings and current owner of the house.
When he was little, V was subject to bullying not only for his weight, but also for showing a lot of affection towards his male schoolmates, be it by hugging or other displays of affection. This shaped him to be cautious and a bit cagey with people and not really a person to enjoy being in crowded places. He prefers being in the comfort of his home.

Nonetheless, he’s never felt lonely, and, thanks to his parents, he got a liking for farm labor and cooking. He loves to cook, but he loves it even more when those he cherishes enjoy the food he makes. 

Aside from his brothers’ friendship, he enjoyed that from Jose Hijo “Joe”, Don Jose’s son, who was in charge of selling what other farms produce in the town.



However, both grew up and made their separate ways, Joe opting to make a life out of that town and search for a future in another place
Joe did ask Virgil to come with him, but Virgil was too scared to leave his life at the farm with his family. Virgil always held a small regret about this decision, wondering what became of Joe, his childhood crush. 

This situation that followed the recent leave of Kurt from home, caused in Virgil a depression phase, he lost weight and took him a while to recover
Virgil actually lives in the old barn at the back of the house next to the little farm that he tends early each morning. This barn has been renovated for someone to live in. He sleeps in a huge woven thread hammock (customized from sleepovers with Joe), which he is more refreshing for him.


His crops consist of various veggies and some fruits (he’s particularly proud of his watermelon crops) that he uses for cooking. The extra is sold to Don Jose who he still visits regularly. 


Virgil loves his farm life, and it’s hard to take it out of him. Technology is not for him, and neither is social media.
Years went by before V met the person who became his first real relationship, the little wolf.
