May-June 2023 Kickstarter Campaign Ideas

Hey all!

With the Gamemaster's Survival Guide wrapping up, it's time for me to start planning the next Kickstarter. Art takes a long time, so it's better to get it ordered early. That way, the artists are working on it while I'm writing and coordinating on the book.

(Also, all the adventures here are covered by the DMDave Writing Team).

Below are some ideas I've had for the May-June 2023 Kickstarter. Which one are you most interested in? Thanks for letting me know!

Yes. About two weeks from now

I like the concept of in the future more like hand of the eight/pexia bundled full end to end long adventures with physical & foundry vtt content ie kinda replacement of broadsword. Maybe every 6 months idk :) Just food for thought. Keep making awesome content & especially with foundry vtt

But, +1 for puzzles, traps and mysteries as well ...

They copied all that flavour text that is 40 years out of touch with modern society - then had to roll it back. Still at least it wasn't like Star Frontiers New Genesis - and I'd still like some decent ship to ship combat rules ;)

Will the book be available after the kickstarter has ended? I want to getone later but can not right now :(

I wish they had copy/pasted stuff from 2e. It was great. I have no idea what this stuff is they gave us haha

DM Dave

But of course!

How about doing Wildspace properly? A new campaign with good optional rules such as ship to ship combat and some of the other stuff Wizards should have done instead of basically copy and pasting the original material from four editions ago -

If you do a monster book, please consider a Foundry module for it even if it is a stretch goal.

I like the puzzles/mysteries idea too! For me personally, a good, balanced puzzle is harder to come up with than new, balanced monsters

Book of Puzzles and Mysteries. Some good ideas for puzzles and how to effectively make one.

Backed it! Excited to receive it! Been part of the Patreon for a long while and always excited when I see new Omeria content. I really enjoy that campaign, would love to see another like it πŸ˜ƒ

I heartily second a long horror/spooky campaign. Something with different scenarios and challenges (heavy RP on one section, combat, mystery, clue hunting, epic bosses, all that kind of stuff) to provide a lot of variety, but lots of Gothic mystique.

I would like to see a something that could tie into Omeria, sad that its not as popular, but could stand on its own. Something either related to underwater civilizations, or space travel, like Tresure Planet. Or if you didnt want to go that far out, sky islands.

Oh god, please cats vs evil

Holy Pickle

We did that last year! Haha... it's called Pexia's Guide to Omeria. :)

Would love to see a world setting. I can do encounters and small arcs in a world setting but have a hard time with the bigger picture as I’m generally not that creative. A continent full of cities, major players, organizations and maybe a couple story arcs that I can then customize for a campaign would be something I’d love to back.
